He Likes Us!!!

We had an opportunity to spend a couple hours with Tessema at the guesthouse this morning, and it went so well!  He was sleeping when they dropped him off, so we were a little concerned about how he would react when he woke up in a strange environment, but he took it all in stride.  We still couldn't get him to smile, but he looked like he was thinking about it at one point.  Maybe tomorrow...

Isn't he cute?!?

You're correct! He certainly is a cutie. He looks pretty comfortable in MaMa's arms too. Tell him to be ready for some of Grandma's "chin soup" when he gets home.

Hi Wendy and Paul!

Wow! What a journey...and it's only just begun! Thanks for the great updates. He's darling! Please take lots of photos as the experience is so exciting that it's almost surreal! Best wishes, grace, and peace in your days.

Happy Mother's Day, mommy of four!

Love from, Joni and family

P.S. When do you travel again?

Wendy and Paul,
We continue to pray for you. I see that my mail is not getting through to you. I am doing something wrong.
Yes, He is cute. God is blessing all of us as you tell us what God is doing in your family. We all feel so much a part of God's world family. I just said short prayer for JT's birth mom.

Wendy and Paul,
I found a way to use this new tech.
The Lord has provided JT with a new earthly family. He is a part of God's family. He is God's child. The birth mom and Wendy, Paul, are the care givers for one of God's dear children.
God has provided a way for that his children in another part of His world can connect to His children in America.
God is a great God.

He is adorable! I'm thinking ahead and pretty soon it'll be Tuesday for you and you'll be doing the goodbye ceremony and heading to the Embassy... big day!

Also, you say they dropped him off? You mean you didn't go to the care center to pick him up?

Wendy, Said a long prayer for JT's birth mom this morning... a time for everything...
LOVE the pics! He is just too cute for words! Those eyelashes, the curly hair, engaging eyes...
Glad you had a little alone time with him today!
Praying,
Katherine

Hi my dear friend,
Happy Mother's Day to a wonderful Godly mother. God has truly called you to be a mother. I am so proud of you for taking this leap of faith with God. He knows what your future holds and He has certainly laid out this adoption every step of the way. Jonathon is so adorable and seems like a very happy baby. Thank you so much for the updates. I miss you and can't wait to give you a big hug when I see you again. God's Blessing upon both you, Paul, and Jonathon. May God continue to shine upon you throughout this journey. Love Dawn

Hi Paul and Wendy,

I am in love with that little guy already! It has been so exciting to read to your blog. I cried when I read last week, "tomorrow we meet our son." Our prayers remain with you. Have a safe journey HOME with your son.
Love, Jill
